Our degradable weed mat roll is made from 98% natural jute and wood fibres, with a woven polypropylene backing. The natural jute and wood fibres are biodegradable, whereas the polypropylene backing is photodegradable (capable of being decomposed by the action of light, especially sunlight).

Ideal for linear planting, the weed mat roll can be laid either mechanically or manually, and is strong enough to be walked on once installed, making planting and plant maintenance easier.

Cut using sharp scissors (carpet scissors, or similar), the degradable weed mat roll can be cut to size on site, and should be pegged into place using metal pegs.

Our degradable weed mat roll has a weight of 1000g per m² of material, and is available in a 25m roll, with a width of 1.10m.
